School teacher stalks teenage student in Warsaw

A 33-year-old school teacher is facing serious legal repercussions after persistently harassing a teenage student, culminating in charges of stalking and criminal threats. The distressing situation came to light when the teenager, a resident of Wola, finally decided to seek help from the authorities.

According to Chief Commissioner Marta Sulowska, initial investigations revealed that the teacher had been subjecting the student to relentless harassment since January and was obsessed with her. His actions included bombarding her with numerous messages, flowers, letters, and even statuettes. Matters took a terrifying turn when he resorted to threatening to burn down her home if she didn’t respond.

Prompted by the escalating threats, the teenager bravely reported the ordeal to the police, triggering a swift response from law enforcement in Wola. Subsequently, the 33-year-old culprit was apprehended and charged accordingly. As part of the legal proceedings, he has been placed under police supervision and is prohibited from approaching or contacting the victim. If convicted, he could face a maximum sentence of up to three years in prison.
