Police Seize Drugs Worth 6 Million PLN in Warsaw Cake Mold Bust

A recent police operation led to the arrest of two men suspected of drug possession and distribution. During the raid, officers discovered illicit substances worth approximately PLN 6 million concealed in cake molds.

The operation, conducted by counter-terror and anti-drug units, uncovered a sophisticated drug operation in mid-April. Inside a property in Radom, authorities found a food processor and baking molds containing white powder, later identified as drugs crushed and portioned out by the suspects.

Seized during the operation were a hydraulic press, a mixer, a welding machine, and 10 packages containing around 10.5 kg of cocaine. Additionally, 12 packages containing approximately 6 kg of heroin were found in vehicles associated with the suspects. The total haul amounted to about 16.5 kg of drugs with an estimated black market value of PLN 6 million.

Following the arrest, over PLN 241,000 in cash was seized, and the detainees now face up to 10 years in prison. The swift action by law enforcement underscores the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and ensure public safety.
