How many millionaires are in Warsaw? Well, we already have over 44.2 thousand millionaires in Poland. Persons who, working full-time or self-employed, showed revenues exceeding 1 million PLN in tax returns for the previous year. And within a decade, their number has quadrupled – in 2009 there were less than 11,000 millionaires. For comparison, there are 2.8 million millionaires in the UK. So how many millionaires in Warsaw?

Where do most of them live and where does their wealth come from?

Traditionally – according to a survey conducted by “Forbes” in Tax Chambers in Poland – the largest number of rich people live in the Mazowieckie Voivodship: over 11.7 thousand in 2021, and last year their ranks increased by 1210. In other voivodeships, the increases were not as spectacular, for example in Wielkopolska (which is second in the ranking) where there were 4649 millionaires in 2021, it grew only by 275 since 2020, and in Silesia (4232 millionaires) grew by 428.
