A man took revenge on a cat that had attacked his pigeons in a disturbingly cruel manner. After catching the cat, the 58-year-old man brutally beat it against a building wall until it stopped moving. He then callously threw the lifeless body into a furnace, where it was burned.
Neighbors, horrified by the man’s actions, reported the incident to the police. The 58-year-old was subsequently arrested and charged with animal cruelty. According to Staff Sergeant Elżbieta Zagórska from the police in Minsk, the man admitted to the offense, claiming that he was retaliating against the cat for threatening his pigeons. If convicted under Article 35 of the Animal Protection Act, he could face up to 5 years in prison.
