Unlock the Secrets of Allora: A New Italian Restaurant in Warsaw by Karolina Jakimiak-Kwaśniewska & Łukasz Kwaśniewski

Karolina Jakimiak-Kwaśniewska and Łukasz Kwaśniewski, driven by their passion for Italian cuisine, have introduced, Allora a new Italian Restaurant in Warsaw that opened in October 2023. Translated as “then” or “at that time” in Italian, the eatery promises an authentic experience that transcends the clichés of Italian dining. Focused on regional specialties, Allora aims to transport patrons to Italy through carefully curated flavors and a stylish ambiance.

The owners, renowned for their establishment Port Royal, express their love for Italian cuisine, emphasizing its energetic and communal nature. With Miłosz Sroka, their chef with a deep connection to Italy, they bring a genuine taste of Italian culinary traditions to Warsaw. The restaurant’s menu features Roman arancini, fritto misto di terra, panzanella, and a meticulously crafted saltimbocca alla romana by Chef Miłosz. Seafood delights, pasta dishes like pasta al ragù bianco and amatriciana, and the anticipated 50-layer lasagne al ragù bolognese are expected bestsellers.

The restaurant’s interior, a project three years in the making, was envisioned by Rafał Kaletowski and Maciej Ryniewicz. A mosaic-adorned bar, terrazzo floors, and carefully chosen fabrics contribute to a warm and inviting atmosphere. Allora is the owners’ interpretation of an Italian atmosphere, where a blend of Nonna’s homey warmth and vacation vibes comes to life.

The space showcases mosaic tables, vintage Daumiller-designed chairs, and artwork by Tomasz Opaliński and lighting by Ingo Maurer, emphasizing the crucial role of light in crafting the ambiance of the restaurant. Allora promises an escape to Italy with a unique and tasteful experience. GENIUS!
